Installed in a controlled area the NMR facility at KIT-INE consists of a Bruker 400WB Avance III NMR spectrometer.

It features a dual channel setup and is equipped with a number of 5 mm NMR probes for the analysis of liquid samples:

  • BBI – a tunable broadband inverse probe with z-gradients (X from 103Rh to 19F)
  • BBILR – a tunable low gamma inverse probe with z-gradients (X from 41K to 39K)
  • BBFOplus – a tunable broad band observe probe with z-gradients (X from 103Rh to 19F)
  • DUX-3H1H – a dual observe probe for detecting 3H with 1H decoupling

For variable temperature measurements a BVT-3000 with a BCU-1 or liquid nitrogen exchangers is available allowing sample temperatures between -150°C and +150°C.
